One of my favorite homestead staples 🌿

I just used some First Saturday Lime around the garden today, and I’m reminded (again) why I always keep this on hand.

It’s not just for the chicken coop—
I use it around garden beds to help naturally deter ants, fleas, mites, and other crawling pests that are trying to take out the plants without harsh chemicals - organic - our favorite.

And one of my favorite uses that not everyone talks about…
You can also use it IN and around ponds, birdbaths, and fountains to help keep algae down and water features cleaner - it also helps with mosquitoes!

Simple. Effective. Multi-purpose.
Just the way I like to do things around here.
